Message From the Principal
Kaegebein serves students in grades 2 through 5 in the Grand Island Central School District. We focus on academic growth, social-emotional learning and building positive school habits through our Viking Values: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe.
Students participate in a full academic program that includes reading, writing, math, science and social studies, along with weekly specials in art, music and physical education. During the 2025-2026 school year we will be offering weekly STEM with a certified Technology teacher. We also offer support services such as RTI, ENL, special education and counseling.
Families are important partners in our work. We communicate regularly through emailed newsletters to keep everyone connected and informed. Please be sure to have your contact information updated in order to receive communication.
Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) plays an active role in supporting school events, fundraising and student activities. All families are welcome to join and get involved. PTA meetings are held monthly and offer a great way to stay engaged with school happenings.
We’re glad you’re here and encourage you to explore our site to learn more about our school.
Mr. Howe, Principal
