These students put their writing skills to use by creating and delivering personalized thank-you cards to various members of the Kaegebein staff. They showed their sincere appreciation for the incredible dedication and positive difference our adults make every day. This wonderful initiative beautifully demonstrated the spirit of kindness and community we value in our classrooms, brightening many of our employees' days! | | | Our Second Graders had a truly magical day out! They took a trip to the historic Palace Theater in Lockport to see a thrilling performance of "The Happy Elf." The students were absolutely thrilled by the stage show, loving the catchy music, colorful sets, and exciting adventure! Thank you to the PTA for supporting a wonderful experience for our students! | | | With the help of Mrs. Klettke and Mrs. Pritchard, the students in Mrs. Seibert's class have become marine researchers! Inspired by articles and books they read about the coral reef ecosystem, the students worked diligently to research and write comprehensive reports on various species of coral reef fish. This project combined literacy, science, and the excitement of discovering life under the sea! | | | Our incredibly talented students delivered show-stopping performances at the Winter Chorus Concert! Under the excellent direction of Mrs. Michki, the chorus first performed for their peers and teachers during the school day, and then gave a magnificent evening performance for their families at the Grand Viking Theater. The music was truly incredible, filling the auditorium with a warm and festive spirit! | | | A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA for sponsoring a truly special event for our students! We hosted a thrilling, high-energy performance by Checkers the Inventor. Checkers captivated the students with his zany and excited feats, blending comedy, magic, physical stunts, and custom-created stage props. His highly visual and interactive show was designed to inspire curiosity and showcase how entertaining learning can be! The students were absolutely wowed by the unique and unforgettable performance. | | | We celebrated our first trimester Viking Value winners—students who exemplified respect throughout the first trimester! They were honored with a special pancake breakfast, personally hosted by Mr. Howe, complete with all their favorite toppings. Keep demonstrating those great character traits! We look forward to seeing which students will earn the Viking Value Award for Responsibility next! | | | | It was a morning of sweet success and stellar teamwork! The classes of Mrs. Aldridge, Mrs. Pellittieri, Mrs. Parillo, Mrs. Kropczynski, and Miss Burns joined forces for a special gingerbread house making session.
This activity was a true lesson in collaboration, with students from both classes working together in a unified team effort to plan, build, and decorate their festive, edible masterpieces. They successfully demonstrated communication and shared goals, proving that when classes work together, the results are incredible (and delicious!). | | | | Grand Island School PTA Needs Your OpinionThe Grand Island Central School District PTA is seeking your input to help us select the best school photography vendor for our students and families.
